Annika was a singer and fine artist, she spent her last years traveling and painting.
She was involved in a charity project in Africa, in a small village the local children stole her heart and she made many plans to help them.

Annika played the guitar and square flute very well. In her younger years, she has had horses until she got married. Her first and favourite horse died in a fire as someone set the stables on fire. Many horses could be saved but she couldn't save hers and could only witness the drama in front of her eyes. That was something she never really got over, therefore we chose 4 black horses in front of her carriage at the funeral: two horses for each soul to unite the two.

Her paintings derived from nature, her incredible deep love for animals; she knew to capture the atmosphere and personalities in a unique way.

A selection of her work is to be found here, in remembrance of Annika who died at the 8 of March 2018.
